lunch @ grand imperial kitchen, empire shopping gallery
Decided to give this place a try as we believe it's under the grand imperial group. But they offer quick dishes and dim sum as compared to their parent that serves fine dining Chinese cuisine
Fried rice with anchovies and fried egg - rm13.30. The lunch set came with a drink (either soya bean or grass jelly). This dish was garnished with a lot of crispy anchovies. But it was too salty as the fried rice was already salty. So when taken together with the anchovies, it's really too salty
La mian soup with preserved vegetables and pork strips - rm13.30. This set also came with either a glass of soya bean or grass jelly drink. This dish was also quite salty but not as bad as the fried rice.

Pork balls - rm5 for 5 pieces. There's nothing special about this dish. Tastes just like any other pork balls at other places

spaghetti Alfredo. Tastes good with slight hint of the sweetness of carrot. Worth giving it a try
cheese cake for dessert. This was a pleasant surprise. The cake was so light but not as light as Japanese cheese cake but at the same time not as rich as the typical new York cheese cake. The cream cheese was just beaten to perfection. Good!!
